What's Demi fine jewelry?

Demi-fine jewelry is a category of jewelry that sits between fine jewelry and costume jewelry. It typically uses high-quality materials, like sterling silver, gold vermeil, or semi-precious stones. Demi-fine jewelry provides a balance of luxury and affordability, making it an excellent choice for those who want meaningful, durable pieces that will last with proper care.

 

What's the difference between gold vermeil and regular plated jewelry?

Gold vermeil and regular gold-plated jewelry both involve a layer of gold applied to a base metal, but they differ in quality and durability. Gold vermeil features a thicker layer of gold, at least 2.5 microns, applied over sterling silver, and uses higher-quality gold (usually 10k,14k or 18k), making it more durable and long-lasting. In contrast, regular gold-plated jewelry has a much thinner gold layer, often less than 0.5 microns, applied over base metals like brass or copper. This thinner layer and variable gold content make gold-plated jewelry less durable, more prone to tarnishing, and often unsuitable for sensitive skin, which can lead to irritation.

 

Can I wear my jewelry everyday?

Can I cancel, update my order or change my shipping address?

  • Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, we are unable to modify or add items to it. If you wish to add an item, please place a separate order.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
    • You may request to cancel your order by sending us an email. Orders cannot be canceled once they have processed and shipped. 
    • To cancel an order, please email us immediately at contact@heroseagainofficial.com with the subject line: Cancel and #OrderNumber along with your full name and description of items ordered.
    • If your order has not yet been processed, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
    • If your order is successfully canceled you will receive a confirmation email, and a full refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account after it has been processed.
    • Please Note: Refund times may vary depending on your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
    • If your order has been processed and shipped, you can return your items once you receive them. (E-gift cards and earrings are non-returnable and cannot be exchanged) 
    • Please Note: we cannot make any changes after the order has been shipped.

    CHANGE OF SHIPPING ADDRESS

      • If you notice your shipping address is incorrect after you've placed your order please email us immediately at contact@heroseagainofficial.com with the subject line: Address Change and #OrderNumber along with your full name and the correct address. If the order has shipped out already we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly.
      • Please note: It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate information. When placing your order, kindly ensure that all details are correct before finalizing your purchase.
